The Story of Betty’s Breast Cancer Foundation
Betty’s Breast Cancer Foundation was born from heartbreak, resilience, and hope. After losing a young mother to cancer while completing her own breast cancer treatment, our founder, Betty Rodríguez, made a promise: no woman should face cancer feeling alone, unheard, or afraid. What began as small gatherings in Betty’s home became a trusted community organization dedicated to education, early detection, and compassionate support for women facing breast cancer.
Today, we continue that mission by helping underserved and immigrant communities access the care and resources they deserve.

Care Gift Bags

We give gift bags containing pajamas, slippers, a wig, and other special items to provide comfort and support during surgery.
Walking in Pink Event
Every October, we host a 5K walk to raise funds, unite the community, and inspire hope for women.
Christmas Betty’s Tree
Every December, we display a Christmas tree at two institutions in New York City, featuring items related to breast cancer, in celebration of all survivors.
